Lead Software Engineer

Technical Qualifications :

  • Extensive development experience in C++.  A significant portion of this development experience must be on LINUX/ UNIX environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in using STL (standard template library).
  • A thorough understanding of UNIX or Linux operating system including sockets, threads and process synchronization mechanisms.
  • Development experience using MySQL.
  • An understanding of the principles, theories and practices of object oriented programming (OOP).

Experience and Education:

  • 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or BS/MS/PhD in computer science or related fields is required.

Experience in any or all of the following areas is a definite plus:

  • Network monitoring and network management principles.
  • Routing protocols IGP(OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS), EGP (BGP) or multicast routing  protocols (DVMRP, PIM) or MPLS Technology.
