Senior Software Engineer

Position Description/Responsibilities:

The Senior Development Engineer will work with a group of routing experts and architects in order to develop and maintain product modules associated with the configuration, visualization and analysis of routing and traffic data

Required Skills:

  • A deep understanding of packet networking with some knowledge of routing protocols.  In particular, hands-on working knowledge of networking protocols, more than 2 years experience is required.
  • The candidate must have extensive development experience in C/C++ with over 4 years of development experience on Linux/Unix environments.
  • Ideal candidate must understand the principles, theories and practices of object oriented programming (OOP).
  • BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or BS/MS in computer science or related fields is required.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and network management principles is a definite plus
