West/Southwest Region Account Manager
Position Description:
Packet Design is seeking a Sales Account Manager for the West - Southwest Region.
Responsibilities include selling Packet Design’s complete Route and Traffic Analytics software product line to new and existing customers in the West - Southwest US territory. Position entails prospecting, lead qualification, technical presentations, forecasting and closing business.

Packet Design, Inc. offers a range of IP network analysis and control solutions that enhance the reliability, efficiency and predictability of IP networks, while retaining the economic and operational benefits that have established IP as the preeminent network for business and the Internet. Packet Design is located in Santa Clara, California.
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years+ experience selling network management and/or system management software
- Excellent working knowledge of IP, routing protocols, and network hardware
- Track record of building a new territory, preferably at a start-up
- Closed multiple $1M+ software license agreements
- Technical background or systems engineering experience a plus
- Experience selling to F100 end user customers in the West - Southwest US
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements
- College degree with technical training preferred

- San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, Portland or Seattle
